The CD 0100-04 flexible metal duct is made of electro-galvanized, varnished steel (black). It connects the heating element to the fan, which you can position to the left or right of the fireplace.

Precautions

Avoid pulling on the liner to prevent the coils from coming apart.
Secure the liner end inside the coil using the set screw.
If you are using an elbow at the coil inlet, it also has a set screw.
Note: The liners are not airtight because a seal would interfere with the liner's curvature and would quickly deteriorate near the heat source.

Therefore, we recommend keeping the liner as straight as possible, especially when adding a second liner.

We advise against joining more than two liners end to end.
